Our price is $25.00 per person. This includes the GST. You can pay by Paypal or Credit Card online when making your booking. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards in the office.

We do require a deposit of $50.00 per room to hold your booked date.

We are now offering private play with your friends or family with five or more players. This type of booking must be called into the office during office hours and we’ll be happy to make that arrangement for you.

*** Please Note: There is a minimum payment of $125.00 for this service when there are less than five players.

***Deadlock Escape reserves the right to refuse game play to anyone who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Due to the nature of our complex electronics and puzzles we can’t have them breaking. No refunds will be given if you show up intoxicated and are refused entry.

5 stars! I wasn’t sure what to expect…But Adrian went above and beyond my expectations. This is such a do again! I encourage everyone to do this! I went threw a ton of emotions going threw this escape. . . It was so much more then just a fun night to get together with your friends…It challenged you, helped you learn about eachothers strengths and weakness, it also taught us we had to listen to each other, and know our surroundings. To work together.. it also makes you swear like a truck driver to be honest!! Lol It was so awesome! Things you never thought could exist in this place..did. It totally brought you to a whole new world! It was a f—– blast!

Creepy, interesting atmosphere and the puzzles were really well done complimenting the story & leading to the next clue. We were able to go in with a mother daughter team to try the Marilyn room. Sadly we did not make it out… but we sure had fun trying! The puzzles are challenging and fun. It’s exciting when you solve a clue and are able to move onto the next. It was fun to be able to work with people we didn’t know too! We will definately be going back to try the other rooms!!!

Full stars! We absolutely loved our time here! We are eagerly awaiting for the next room. The only suggestion I would give is with the smell match game. It would have been better if the smells were more distinct. We had a hard time differentiating three of the containers and it was such a cool idea for a puzzle. Other than that it was fabulous! Just test played Dead Man’s Hand at Deadlock Escape and it was some of the most fun that I’ve ever had! One of their more challenging rooms, but definitely worth a try if you think you’re up to the challenge tongue emoticon I would recommend having a group of at least 4 people. It works best if you work well together, unless butting heads is your thing haha. Thanks for a great time! We will be back!

Had an amazing time trying out their new room, Dead Man’s Hand! The puzzles definitely make you think, and sometimes it’s best to not think too hard on the solution. Honestly, Marilyn was my first room ever. I had no experience with any of your competitors until recently. You have amazing rooms! Akira does rock it! This an absolutely amazing experience! To find each clue you definitely need to work together and, if possible, go with a group of people. These are not easy riddles to solve and the less people you have the harder and more challenging it is. We went as a couple but were joined by a group of 4, which was great because we definitely wouldn’t have been able to unlock the door in 60 minutes otherwise! Well worth the money and time. I will definitely be back for the next scenario they set up!

My friend and I took our daughters (16 & 15) as part of a Mother-Daughter weekend. We had never been to anything like it before, so was not sure what to expect. We were thrilled and amazed!! Monday, 4 January 2016 2:52 PM Our group was in Shanghai Lockup. It was a blast! This is a great way to hang out with friends…so much better than going to a movie. We will definitely do this again! Although we didn’t have kids with us I would say this is a family friendly activity for the average family. The puzzles would likely be too difficult for very young children but I think 10 years+ would be just fine with help from adults. There were no inappropriate or scary images that I can remember.

December 14 at 2:39pm · Just tried this out last night with The Boys. Tried the Shanghai room, and felt the addiction immediately. Tried the Marilyn room, and struggled. Crazy, complicated, confusing and killer. All in all, I’m glad I wore my thinking cap (Seriously, I was in the Sherlock Holmes Deerstalker hat). I think it helped.

FAQs

Question: What time should we show up?

We recommend you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your start time to remove outer clothing, get comfortable, be properly briefed and ready to go.

Question: What happens if I/we show up late?

We understand unexpected things can happen. At Deadlock, we will do our best to get you in and playing in a hurry if you are late,but as we only have a 15 minute window to reset everything for the next group, we may have to start your timer early!! If some members of your group are on time, we will start with them and get you in as soon as you arrive and they can catch you up.

Question: What if we need to get out?

You will always have a way to contact one of our escape experts and in the case of an emergency they are trained to assist in every way possible.

Question: Is there an age limit?

Babies and toddlers are not able to come into the rooms, for their own safety. Haunted Asylum can be frightening to some but the other rooms are meant to give you a rather “creepy” experience. Players ages 8-12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and players 13 -16 must have written consent from parents or a guardian.

Question: How do you play?

Our game master will explain everything you need to know about the game.

Question: Are tickets refundable?

No. All sales are final. Please be aware of that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds, cancellations are not accepted. You can reschedule your game at least 48 hours in advance.

Question: Are tickets transferable to my friends?

Yes. You can give/sell your tickets to another person.

Question: I want to bring one more friend to the game but there are no tickets available. Do you sell tickets at the door?

The players limited in each room is 8 people. Bookings are done online, so there would be no guarantee that a space would be available.

Question: Can I bring in my phone or video equipment to film me and my friends reaction?

We're sorry, as much as we would love to be able to do that for you, there can be no phones or video equipment allowed in the rooms as they may react with all the different kinds of electronics in the room. And likely not in a good way either.

Question: How long does the game go for?

You have 60 timed minutes to find all the clues and escape from the room.

Question: If we fail to get out in time will we continue the play?

If you fail to get out in 60 min, don’t worry, we will let you out (at no extra charge). At this point, you will have two choices. 1: You give up, or 2: To try again. We can’t guarantee you will be able to get back on the same day, but we’ll give you the opportunity to schedule another fascinating 60 min of your life.

Right here on this website. There is a drop down menu of 1 to 8 people which you can select on the room you want to try out. Choose your game room and then pick the time and payment selection that works best for you and your group. You can also call us at 306-979-LOCK (5625) and we can book you in.
